Appointment Reminder Options
Root River Dental provides advanced, no-cost appointment reminders for all patients via mail, voicemail, email and/or text reminder services. Patients may change their preferred method of communication at any time by contacting Root River Dental. 24-hour Appointment Change Notice
Appointments are scheduled for each individual patient, in the event a patient needs to change a scheduled appointment; a minimum of a 24-hour advance notice is required.
Missed Appointment/Late Cancellation Policy
We have scheduled your appointment time just for you. We work hard every day to keep on schedule and respect your time, but we understand things arise and you may need to cancel your scheduled appointment. If so, we request a 24-hour notice for any appointment cancellation. With a notice, we will be able to work with you to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.
Following two missed appointments, or appointments cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice, within a 12-month period, the patient will be required to pay a $50 deposit to hold any future appointments. When the patient comes for their scheduled appointment, the full deposit will be applied for the services provided that day. A deposit will be necessary for all future appointments until further notice – such as routinely keeping scheduled appointments.
If a third appointment is again missed or cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice, the deposit will be forfeited. Root River Dental reserves the right to dismiss a patient from the practice due to a history of repeated missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24-hour notice.
Please call us at Root River Dental Phone Number 507-533-7735 if your plans have changed. Thank you!
Late Arrival for a scheduled appointment
If a patient arrives more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled appointment, the patient will have to reschedule. A late arrival may be considered a late cancellation (see Missed Appointment/Late Cancellation Policy).
A parent, or legal guardian, must provide a current health history (including medications), and must provide prior consent to perform any procedures at Root River Dental – this includes having a signed consent for recommended treatments, such as fillings, on file before the minor may be scheduled.
